Privacy Notice Summary

Par Grad Ltd as a responsible controller of your data will store and process it to represent you in your job search and keep you up to date with marketing communications in addition to maintaining a record of our relationship with you. In order to do so, we require a legal basis; this basis is reliant on your explicit consent as given during our conversation.


What information do we collect?

We will store the information contained in your application and CV, such as personal details, work history, details of your skills, experience, education and qualifications. These may be supplemented by information provided by you during our filtering process such as salary information. We will also hold pertinent details of our relationship which may include records of email communication, opportunities presented, interviews etc. (for full details please refer to the attached Privacy Notice).


What do we do with your personal information?

We hold your data:

To be able to place you to the most suitable position according to your background and experience.

We may use your personal information to contact you to discuss other opportunities

For the purpose of identification

To keep you updated with marketing communications

To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations


Who will we share your personal information with?

Our Clients: for each opportunity (subject to your prior consent), we will share your personal information with our Client in order to support your application.


How long do we hold it for?

We will hold your data for no longer than 2 years before seeking confirmation, via email that you are happy for us to continue to hold your data. If we have placed you in a role, this time-frame may be extended by 1 year under the Conduct Regulations 2003.


Using your information to keep in touch with you

In addition to our filtering process, we may use the information we hold about you in order to contact you in specific circumstances including changes to our terms, notification of new opportunities, for security purposes, for marketing purposes, and where permitted by law.


Your rights.

Under the data protection legislation, you have a number of rights relating to your personal information including, the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. These rights will enable you to manage how we deal with your data and remove it entirely if you require.

How we work

Par Grad will provide you with permanent recruitment services, that is to say we will act as an agency as defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973. By engaging with us you are authorising us to seek permanent work on your behalf.


How we work with you: 

When a suitable vacancy arises, we will discuss the role directly with you and share any relevant information we have regarding the role. This will permit you to research the role and company and decide as to whether you wish to proceed.

If you agree to continue with the process, we will pass your CV and our interview notes supporting your application onto the client. Once the client has received your details, you should be contacted by them with details of how they comply too GDPR and privacy policies.


If the client wishes to proceed with your application, we will support you as much as possible throughout the process.

You are welcome to contact us for an update or to make any enquiries at any stage of the process.
